How do I care for my SisterStory jewellery?

Our jewellery is designed to be worn and enjoyed every day. However, there are a few simple steps we advise you follow to take care of your favourite pieces to keep them looking their best.

Your SisterStory jewellery is created from natural stones and pearls.  Natural oils in sweat can affect the lustre of these products. We recommend you avoid contact with perfume, moisturisers, suntan lotions, hairspray and detergents.  Your new jewellery is delicate – so treat it kindly!  To care for these unique pieces properly, we advise you to remove before showering or bathing, before exercising or sleeping.  To extend their life and to maintain their lustre, we recommend you apply lotions and/or perfume and allow to dry BEFORE completing your outfits with SisterStory jewellery.

After wear, use a soft jewellery cloth and polish gently to remove any oils to ensure your pieces are kept at their best.  Pearls can scratch and the nacre become damaged if stored next to other jewellery, so when not being worn we recommend they are stored in their original packaging or a jewellery box.
