About Us

Welcome to SisterStorY...

our story as sisters and our enduring love of jewellery.

Since childhood, we have been surrounded by our grandmothers, mother, aunts, cousins and our sisters, who have all loved and love the excitement of adding an extra sparkle to their outfits.  

Our grandmothers adored jewellery and wore it every day to complete their look. Each had their own signature style with Nell, loving colour and wearing bangles and beads in every hue, and Connie, accessorising with rose and yellow gold, sapphires, diamonds and other precious stones. Their contrasting styles have created a fusion of ideas, shaping SisterStory pieces and fuelling our love of jewellery.  

As young girls, we spent hours ‘dressing up’ in their ‘jewels’ but, as girls became women, we recognised we were fortunate enough to inherit more than just their jewellery. We had both inherited their philosophy. This ethos of ‘every day is an occasion worth getting dressed up for!’ characterises our style and is the inspiration for SisterStory. 

This attitude has guided our work in the jewellery business over the past 20 years, designing individual pieces, contemporary in style, but timeless in appeal. Our belief is simple: jewellery is a gift, whether to yourself, a sister, mother, daughter, grandchild, lover or friend, that transcends a moment in time, creating a connection and sharing joy … just like Nana’s bangles.

We choose to work with natural stones and pearls to produce unique pieces with the weight and drape of luxury. It is this blueprint which we bring to SisterStory. Our aim is to ensure our pieces are treasured, shared and passed on to those you love for many generations to come.
